Hélène Machin

Thursday, October 22nd, 2009

Hélène Machin has just finished a year research at the “Fondation de la Tapisserie Tournai”, Belgium.
For the annual exhibition, she has put on a great show of hardcore crochet, silk-screening, and objects such as crucifixes and gravy jugs. Covering hot topics such as feminism, sports, power, sex, religion, family and more, the result is a mad installation where materiels meet for a weird colourful sexual celebration.
Really worth the visit and on view till 31st october.
