Champagne!

The month started with a visit into Ann Veronica Janssens’ tunnel of light at an exhibition in Hasselts’ Z33 space.
Her installation consisted of a dark room with a round light beamer at the end of it, the viewer is attracted into the tunnel created by the light and walks towards it’s source…so beautiful!!

Arnaud the Robot singing a few songs along to the Multitrack. The beats were made from mouth sounds with vocoder singing on top.

A quick note to tell you how FANTASTIC Barbara’s concert was last night!
A real Morgenstern prime time, total entertainment and pure romanticism.
She made us laugh, cry and love.
The sound was amazing as it was under the voltes of the Botanique cellar, it surrounded us totally.
She sang many songs from the new album, but also other hits from Nichts Muss, Vermona and Plastic Report (my favourite ever…).
The Teenage Kicks song totally rocks, she sings up-front and then got an electric guitar out.
The audience was in trance with smiles on their faces….sooooo niiiiiiiice!

We are so happy to have a BM in this world!

Odessa opened the 10 days off with a perfectly mastered set at the Vooruit, Ghent.
Difficult position, as the White room was quite empty for the first song, but gradually it filled up to a good space of dancing and listening.

Last night Lem played at “Chez henry”, a very beautiful 1900 squatted house in Ixelles, Brussels. The evening started off with an “auberge espagnole”, a dinning tradition where each participant brings food or drink to share with others. Atka and Baladi had put up some drawings on the wall and the wood fire was alight, giving off a lovely warmth.
