Monday 22.30, while cooking some zucchini, the door bell rings.

I lean out of the window and see a guy waving a collar and shouting:” have you lost your cat? i’ve found it!”.
I run, turn the gas off, slip on a coat and shoes, belt down the stairs, pick up the cat basket and make it out into the street to meet this person holding Chachou’s red plastic collar. I follow him accross the park as he tells me how he found her miauling in front of his door.
We arrive at the flat where his girlfriend is cooking dinner, at the rear end of a large room, a little spare room where I discover Cahchou sitting happily on a bed with a bowl of cat biscuits.
Back in the main room with the cat in the box, I spot an impressive collection of vynil, and find out that Chachou has a rather good flair for cool squats as I discover that her friendly host is the DJ and techno producer Sweatshop.

After a 10 day bunk, Chachou arrives home: dusty, itchy, smelling of car oil, dirty garage and with 2 broken whiskers.
Having introduced me to her cool new neighbourhood friends, she sits happily in the kitchen and gobbles up large bowls of food… purring.
