Champagne!

Just couldn’t resist this one….

Blown away by Barry Lydia’s quilt like wall of patterns painted on wooden boards, I decide to crack the code and try to work out the, what appears to be easy, technic… not without difficulty! In fact 12 hours later, the only clues I have are masking tape, some sort of repellent to protect the sides and foam brushes.
After a few sketches, I still can’t figure out the order or the amount of tape layers needed to achieve a simple version… let alone a more complicated one! 🙂

… and the first attempt has… failed! I feel tempted to cheat and do it in silkscreening….

At the end of the evening, the sweet US vegan crew turned up and we were privileged to get a few pages of our “Beautiful Losers” signed by Twist, Ed Templeton and Amaze.

To finnish the WE off nicely Supe and Petro turned up for dinner which was a laugh!

Harrisson gets building… following the instructions in this book, a 12€ designer bedside/coffe table is born…. very handy indeed and great for blogging!

Lots of food, lots of booze, lots of SUGAR!
