It all started off with a run in the park and a plate of yellow chanterelles, it’s the season for mushrooms over here…yummi yummi

It’s started getting really cold, the indian summer is over, so we’ve pulled our woolies.

We went to see the Slugs play…at the Dada Bar, an English style pub in the city center with Henry the 8th’s portrait on the wall;;;;the Slugs played a good concert with their famous potato hit and the punk cover of Souchon’s “Foule sentimentale”.

On the walk home, we went by Central station, were there is an installation by artist Anne-Sophie De Visscher….she has installed a swing between two columns of the main entrance to the Horta building. It’s so cool! Anyone can just stop by at any time and have a swing.

Next day went to Jaqueline Deluxe, a couple of little houses in Auderghem turned into a comfortable squat with lovely gardens and a garage to listen to music in…

… Benjamin Franklin played an cute electronic ballade

then the American Mudboy twiddled a psychadelic 70’s influenced trancy gothic set… (its not quite that but it’s a bit difficult to describe).

Nurse played some CDs while the audience enjoyed fresh apple juice from Caroline’s garden and organic beer from a lost village.

Then we went to a really strange place in the lowers parts of Forest. It was a huge atelier with a converted backyard…over the stairwell was a big metal and glass structure, felt like being at a party in NY loft in the 80’s…Tuxedomoon’s lead singer was performing while films were projected onto him….later went down to the cellar where Harry turned into a horse for a few minutes 😮

there we listened to the Martiens Go Home electronic set.

Sunday was working day, lots of writing and going hectic….Odessa called us over for tea…Frédé had bought cake…and, gosh, what a cake!
