{"id":57,"date":"2006-11-05T21:44:37","date_gmt":"2006-11-05T20:44:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/?p=57"},"modified":"2008-09-02T08:36:38","modified_gmt":"2008-09-02T07:36:38","slug":"november-week-end","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/november-week-end\/","title":{"rendered":"November week-end"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It all started off with a run in the park and a plate of yellow chanterelles, it&#8217;s the season for mushrooms over here&#8230;yummi yummi<br \/>\n<img alt=\"giroles.jpg\" id=\"image56\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/giroles.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n<!--more--> It&#8217;s started getting really cold, the indian summer is over, so we&#8217;ve pulled our woolies.<br \/>\n<img alt=\"badge_slugs.jpg\" id=\"image58\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/badge_slugs.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nWe went to see the Slugs play&#8230;at the Dada Bar, an English style pub in the city center with Henry the 8th&#8217;s portrait on the wall;;;;the Slugs played a good concert with their famous potato hit and the punk cover of Souchon&#8217;s &#8220;Foule sentimentale&#8221;.<br \/>\n<img alt=\"les_slugs.jpg\" id=\"image59\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/les_slugs.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nOn the walk home, we went by Central station, were there is an installation by artist Anne-Sophie De Visscher&#8230;.she has installed a swing between two columns of the main entrance to the Horta building. It&#8217;s so cool! Anyone can just stop by at any time and have a swing.<br \/>\n<img alt=\"balancoire.jpg\" id=\"image60\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/balancoire.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nNext day went to Jaqueline Deluxe, a couple of little houses in Auderghem turned into a comfortable squat with lovely gardens and a garage to listen to music in&#8230;<br \/>\n<img alt=\"candles.jpg\" id=\"image62\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/candles.jpg\" \/><br \/>\n&#8230; Benjamin Franklin played an cute electronic ballade<br \/>\n<img alt=\"benjamin_franklin.jpg\" id=\"image61\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/benjamin_franklin.jpg\" \/><br \/>\nthen the American Mudboy twiddled a psychadelic 70&#8217;s influenced trancy gothic set&#8230; (its not quite that but it&#8217;s a bit difficult to describe).<br \/>\n<img alt=\"mudboy_badge.jpg\" id=\"image63\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/mudboy_badge.jpg\" \/>Nurse played some CDs while the audience enjoyed fresh apple juice from Caroline&#8217;s garden and organic beer from a lost village.<\/p>\n<p>Then we went to a really strange place in the lowers parts of Forest.
