Drain.<br \/>\nPut in large saucepan with 1 large carrot sliced lengthways, 1 large onion peeled &#038; quartered, 1 stick of celery, 2 bay leaves, 2 tomatoes cut in quarters, 1 clove garlic, salt &#038; pepper + olive oil. Cover with water, to 5c above lentil level, bring to boil then turn back heat and simmer for +- 30m.
