{"id":2745,"date":"2009-12-19T19:23:07","date_gmt":"2009-12-19T18:23:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/?p=2745"},"modified":"2009-12-20T18:23:04","modified_gmt":"2009-12-20T17:23:04","slug":"avatar-is-goa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/avatar-is-goa\/","title":{"rendered":"Avatar is Goa!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/?attachment_id=2762\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2762\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/avatar_2.jpg\" alt=\"avatar_2\" title=\"avatar_2\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2762\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nWent to see Avatar at 3D cinema, and it&#8217;s WOW&#8230;. a goa trance party!<br \/>\nIt&#8217;s set in a tropical forest, with UV fluo plants and specimens floating around, cyber animals and UV body painted tribe people with dread locks&#8230;. all this with a &#8220;peace and eco&#8221; feel, a bit of yoga thrown in (Jake learns to master a dragon and has to concentrate on the body parts and merge with the animal) and lot&#8217;s of shamanic buddhism.<br \/>\nThe story line is of course, a bit predictable, with a &#8220;white man&#8221; infiltrating alien culture, getting accepted and turning against his own to save them, thus leading &#8220;the others&#8221; from the inside instead of from the outside.<br \/>\nBut it&#8217;s delightful for the eyes, the animation is awesome and you get totally dragged into it&#8230;<br \/>\nA shame they didn&#8217;t hire Aphex Twin, DJ Tsuyoshi and Zakir Hussein for the sound track, because it&#8217;s f*** awful!<br \/>\n(it&#8217;s that terrible new age stuff with indian flute and tribal singing + strings, that you can hear in beauty centers and zen shops, yeurk!)<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/?attachment_id=2746\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2746\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/avatar.jpg\" alt=\"avatar\" title=\"avatar\" width=\"496\" height=\"1984\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-2746\" srcset=\"https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/avatar.jpg 496w, https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/avatar-75x300.jpg 75w, https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/avatar-256x1024.jpg 256w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 496px) 100vw, 496px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Went to see Avatar at 3D cinema, and it&#8217;s WOW&#8230;. a goa trance party!
