Difficult to describe the impresion given by the washed-out \/ faded \/ contemplative yet provocative works.<br \/>\nTo me the simplicity of the subjects and cool palette felt very refreshing, a real painting show about figuration, stroke and colour.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/against_the_day.jpg\" alt=\"against_the_day\" title=\"against_the_day\" width=\"425\" height=\"319\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1827\" srcset=\"https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/against_the_day.jpg 425w, https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/against_the_day-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Went on to have a look at Angenot&#8217;s and Harrisson&#8217;s window installation and further up the hill another Angenot public piece &#8220;Green Forms Invasion&#8221;, 3 camouflage benches in a little park near Forest&#8217;s railway station.<br \/>\nA girl happened to be sun bathing in a red dress.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/angenot_bench.jpg\" alt=\"angenot_bench\" title=\"angenot_bench\" width=\"425\" height=\"318\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1828\" srcset=\"https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/angenot_bench.jpg 425w, https:\/\/champagne.constantvzw.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/07\/angenot_bench-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We ended the day with &#8220;Cosmos Cosmos&#8221; a group show on the 6th floor of a private flat, on Jupiter avenue, at the highest point of Brussels.
