Laurence Rassel Bookcase

Saturday, April 12th, 2014

A few days visiting Laurence Rassel and Nicolas Malevé in Barcelona means a good dose of walking, delicious food, special wines, real conversations and a great bookcase to dive into!

*** I particularly enjoyed the bookcase: a perfect reflection of a working mind and practical research .
The top of the bookcase is tidy, organised alphabetically and by section: an archive of knowledge.
The bottom part is chaotic, books and photocopied articles are piled up: the proof of work in process.

*** I dug up some food for my studio research:

Isfahan Art University

Saturday, March 22nd, 2014

We were very lucky to get permission to visit the Art University of Isfahan, with its ceramics department, painting and silkscreening studio. The school is set in a four sided building with a patio in the middle.
We were guided round and met some very friendly tutors and students.
