Sunny stormy sunday stroll around Forest with Harry, Kaatja and Scotty.
Started off with Luc Tuyman’s “Against the day” painting exhibition. Difficult to describe the impresion given by the washed-out / faded / contemplative yet provocative works.
To me the simplicity of the subjects and cool palette felt very refreshing, a real painting show about figuration, stroke and colour.
Went on to have a look at Angenot’s and Harrisson’s window installation and further up the hill another Angenot public piece “Green Forms Invasion”, 3 camouflage benches in a little park near Forest’s railway station.
A girl happened to be sun bathing in a red dress.
We ended the day with “Cosmos Cosmos” a group show on the 6th floor of a private flat, on Jupiter avenue, at the highest point of Brussels. With, amongs others, the following works by Christophe Terlinden, Frédéric Biesmans, Myriam Hornard.
