A lesson in painting

De Pont museum, Tilburg.
Bernard frize, Idoine – 2002
Acrylic paint and resin on prepared canvas.

detail.

Bernard Frize, Mile – 1998
Acrylic paint and epoxy on linnen, detail.
Apparently he applies his paint dry, using a thick and a thin brush + a roller, so only the surface of the fibrous linnen catches the paint.

Anton Henning, Blumenstilleben N°119 – 2002
Oil paint on canvas, with collaged textile for texture.

detail.

Katharina Grosse – 2008
Acrylic paint on prepared canvas…
Does anyone have any info on the technique used?
spray paint? if so, diluted with what medium?

detail.
